Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was a member and the captain of 2012's Fierce Five and the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. In 2012, she was awarded gold medals in team competitions along with the floor exercise. For the balance beam, Raisman was awarded a bronze. This meant that she was the first American to compete at an Olympics with the highest amount of medals. She won the gold in the team competition during the 2016 Olympics that also made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to win back-to-back golds. She also won two silver medals in the floor exercise and an individual all-around. Following the 2nd Olympics the gymnast was off for three years from gymnastics. Also, she was a member of the gold medal winning American team at two World Championships. When she was just 2 when she started to study gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is floor workouts. Aly is a supporter of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in honor of her grandmother who died from cancer. Aly hopes to achieve an enviable career in the field of fashion. The leotards she wears as a signature along with socks and other garments are expected to be enlarged to include other items in the future. Fierce, a new book she's currently working on will be published sometime in the coming year.
